Blackwood Hall Table

This piece features Tasmanian Blackwood throughout with a curved stretcher of Jarrah between the legs whose shape is reflected in the draw handle.

Build over a series of weekends, the work involved everything from the selection and cleaning of the rough sawn timber, to fitting the piston fit draw, hand carving the draw handle, oiling, waxing, and final polishing.
